About the Appraisal Experience
The appraisal begins with an initial assessment and inspection of your pieces. Kate will welcome you into her appraisal lab, where she will guide you through the process. You will leave with all necessary documents, as well as a deeper understanding of your treasured jewellery.
Appraisals are done while you wait, or a “same day” drop-off service can be arranged.

Meet your appraiser
Kate Duddy
A graduate from the Goldsmithing program at Georgian College in Barrie Ontario, Kate has 25 years in the jewellery business, 15 of which were with Nash Jewellers. Kate is one of very few Certified Gemologist Appraisers in Canada, receiving her education from the Gemological Institute of America and The American Gem Society, from which she received her Certified Gemologist Appraiser credentials in 2016. She is able to provide you with Appraisals for Insurance, Probate and resale and can guide you through the process for Estate division and planning, as well as, dissolution of marriage. Appraisals are done while you wait, or a “same day” drop-off service can be arranged.
